The Dell™ Chassis Management Controller (CMC) is a hot-pluggable systems management hardware and software solution designed to provide remote management capabilities and power control functions for Dell M1000e chassis systems. The CMC can be configured to send e-mail alerts or SNMP trap alerts for warnings or errors related to temperatures, hardware misconfigurations, power outages, and fan speeds.
