The 11.6-inch HD display features 10-point multitouch technology, allowing students to interact the way they’re most likely used to. As part of the “touch generation,” today’s students have grown up interacting with technology by touching screens, and the 300e stays right in that comfort zone. Students can download Google Play touch apps and have fun and education literally at their fingertips.

Flexible product for flexible minds
The 300e features a 360-degree hinge, allowing students to position the display the way they need it, for a specific usage mode – Laptop, Tablet, Tent, or Stand. This enables them to make the best use of its multitouch technology to interact with educational apps and tools. Research a topic in Laptop mode. Open it the full 360 degrees to take a test in Tablet mode. Set it to Tent mode when giving presentations, or Stand mode for watching videos. It's as flexible as a student's imagination.

Powerful enough to tackle a teacher’s workload
With its 2.1 GHz quad-core ARM processor, the 300e seamlessly runs the Chrome OS™ operating system and apps from the Chrome Web Store and the Google Play Store. Choose from thousands of education apps on the Chrome Web Store, including Alma, Activity Learn, Geogebra, LucidChart, and more. The Google Play Store also offers students’ favorite educational apps such as Khan Academy, Kahoot!, School Loop, and others. Students can easily multitask, with various windows open for apps and the browser at the same time. And the processor simultaneously supports high-definition video and demanding applications – all without compromising performance.

Tough enough for the military – and the classroom
Teachers who say the classroom feels like a battleground, take heart – this classroom tool has military-grade durability. Built tough with rubber bumpers, reinforced ports and hinges, and a keyboard that can face whatever its users can dish out (see below), the 300e is compliant with MIL-STD-810G testing for all manner of shock and awe. It’s also drop-resistant up to 29.5 inches (75cm) – roughly the height of a school desk.

The full-sized keyboard includes a sealed touchpad and resists spills of up to 1.39 cups (330 ml). And its mechanically anchored keys stay put – no excuses for not doing the latest assignment; this keyboard stays intact!
