Light, high-rigidity magnesium alloy top cover, front cover, internal frame, and rear cover help make the body very durable. Front and rear curtain shutter vibration are so subdued that the shutter has been tested to withstand over 500, 000 shutter cycles. All major buttons and dials are sealed to minimise entry of dust and moisture, ensuring reliable function in tough shooting conditions.
